DJ MADICE Privacy Policy

Your mixes and listening preferences stay on your device. No account is required.

This policy explains how MADICE, Inc. handles information in the DJ MADICE iPhone app. It covers this app separately from Stone Match and MADICE website accounts.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your selected DJ, saved mixes, downloaded audio, mix details, and playback position locally so you can continue listening and play saved sets offline. Mix preparation and audio processing run on your device. The app does not upload your locally saved mixes or listening history to a MADICE account.

Music delivery and technical information

The eight included sets can play offline. Preparing additional mixes uses an internet connection to retrieve the music catalog and audio from MADICE delivery services. These requests include the requested catalog or audio identifier and ordinary network information such as IP address, approximate country or city derived from IP (not GPS location), request time, response status, service response timing, and device or client information provided with the request.

Our hosting and content-delivery providers process technical request and diagnostic records to deliver music, protect the service, prevent abuse, and investigate failures. Such records may be retained beyond the immediate request for those operational purposes. They are not used for advertising, and the app does not attach a MADICE account, advertising identifier, or persistent app-generated user identifier to music requests.

No advertising or tracking

DJ MADICE does not include advertising or third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information or use app information to track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Purchases and permissions

Version 1.0 has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. It does not ask you to create an account, upload personal media, or provide your contacts or location. Audio output and Bluetooth or AirPlay routing use Apple’s system facilities. Apple handles App Store distribution and any diagnostics you choose to share under its own privacy settings and policies.

Contacting support

If you choose to email us, we receive the email address, message, and any attachments you send. Please send only information needed to resolve your request. We use support correspondence to respond and maintain relevant support records.

Service providers and disclosures

Infrastructure and delivery providers, including Cloudflare, process limited technical information needed to operate the service. We may disclose information when required by applicable law, to protect users and the service, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. We do not provide local mixes or preferences to these providers.

Retention, security, and your choices

You can remove saved downloads through the app’s storage controls. Removing the app deletes data stored solely in its local container, subject to Apple’s backup and restore settings. Technical and support records are retained only as reasonably necessary for delivery, security, troubleshooting, support, and applicable legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information we hold, or object to or restrict certain processing. Contact stone@madice.com. We may need to verify your request and retain records where required or permitted by law. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, using safeguards required by applicable law.

Children

The app is not specifically directed to children and does not require personal information to listen. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes and contact

We will update this policy and its effective date when our practices change, and provide additional notice where required. For privacy questions, contact MADICE, Inc. at stone@madice.com.
