Terms across the MADICE universe.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using a MADICE service, creating an account, uploading material, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

If you use MADICE on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. MADICE services are not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the services only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian where required.

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify MADICE of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

3. The MADICE services

MADICE provides creative and intelligent tools that may analyze video, match or create music, assemble edits, generate or transform content, manage projects, enable licensing or publishing, and create interactive experiences such as The Light of Humanity. Features may be experimental, may vary by device or location, and may change as the platform evolves.

4. Your uploads and instructions

You retain ownership of material you upload or submit. You grant MADICE a non-exclusive, worldwide, limited license to host, process, reproduce, transform, transmit, and display that material only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and deliver the service you request.

You represent that you have all permissions needed for your uploads and instructions, including rights relating to copyright, music, trademarks, publicity, privacy, and personal data. Do not upload confidential or sensitive information unless a feature clearly supports it.

5. AI-assisted output

AI-assisted results may be incomplete, inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to material produced for others. Review outputs before relying on, publishing, licensing, or distributing them. You are responsible for determining whether your intended use is lawful and appropriate.

MADICE does not promise that an output is unique, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose, or free from third-party claims.

6. Music, media, and licensing

Previewing, matching, or playing music does not itself grant a commercial license. Rights depend on the selected track, intended use, territory, duration, media, and the license presented at checkout or delivery. Do not distribute or commercially exploit music or other protected assets unless you have obtained the required rights.

Where MADICE connects to a third-party catalog or licensor, additional license terms may apply and will be presented with the applicable transaction.

7. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Prices, recurring charges, applicable fees, and material purchase terms will be shown before you authorize payment. Payments may be processed by Stripe or another identified provider under its own terms. Test-mode transactions do not charge real money.

Unless a specific offer states otherwise, purchases are charged when confirmed. Refund rights, cancellation rights, and renewal rules depend on the offer and applicable law. Contact MADICE promptly if you believe a charge is incorrect.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use MADICE to violate law or another person’s rights; create or distribute malware; evade security or access controls; interfere with service operation; impersonate others; facilitate fraud, harassment, exploitation, or violence; scrape or overload the platform without permission; or upload content you do not have the right to use.

You may not reverse engineer or extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it, nor use MADICE outputs or systems to misrepresent AI-generated material as verified fact where that would be deceptive or harmful.

9. Public stars and community content

A star name submitted through The Light of Humanity is intended for public display in the shared starfield. Do not include sensitive personal information, unlawful material, harassment, or another person’s name or message without appropriate permission. MADICE may moderate, hide, rename, or remove material that violates these terms or creates legal, safety, or operational risk.

10. MADICE intellectual property

MADICE and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, software, interfaces, branding, designs, models, catalogs, documentation, and other materials provided by MADICE. Except for rights expressly granted in a separate license, these terms do not transfer ownership or authorize use of MADICE trademarks or branded assets.

11. Copyright concerns

If you believe material available through MADICE infringes your copyright, contact [email protected] with identification of the protected work, the material at issue, your contact information, a good-faith statement, and confirmation that your notice is accurate and authorized. MADICE may request additional information and may remove or restrict material while reviewing a claim.

12. Third-party services

MADICE may connect to services operated by Stripe, Apple, Cloudflare, music providers, KIRO STONE, or others. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. MADICE is not responsible for a third party’s independent service, content, availability, or practices.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using MADICE at any time. MADICE may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform, comply with law, respond to nonpayment, investigate abuse, or enforce these terms. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations—will survive.

14. Service availability and disclaimers

MADICE works to provide reliable services, but services may be interrupted, delayed, changed, or discontinued. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, specific creative results, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MADICE and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the services. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

16. Changes to services or terms

MADICE may update these terms as products, laws, and business practices evolve. The updated page will show a new effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, MADICE will provide additional notice where required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.

17. General terms

If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without MADICE’s written consent; MADICE may transfer it as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of business or assets, subject to applicable law.
